TapLabs aims to make lab work easy. That’s why we’re here to support clients whether they need lab services or information.

Yes. For general bloodwork and urinalysis, you’ll need a valid lab requisition from your physician or healthcare provider. Your lab technician will need to see the paper copy of the requisition when they arrive. It’s also very helpful if you can upload an electronic copy of this requisition when you book your test online or on the mobile app. Taplabs can also collect samples as part of private test kits and assist with shipping your samples back to a private lab within North America.

Download the TapLabs mobile app available on the Google Play store and App Store and create an account. You can also make appointments using our online booking portal.

TapLabs technicians are available six days a week:

Mon – Fri: 7 am to 5 pm

Sat: 8 am to 2 pm

Sun: Closed

Select an ‘ASAP’ appointment for same-day service, or ‘Schedule for Later’ to preschedule an appointment for a specific date and time of your choice.

ASAP appointment allows you to complete lab test collection services same-day with the next available laboratory technician. These appointments can be booked and completed in as little as one hour (depending on availability).

Schedule for Later appointment is booked for a specific date and time based on your preferences.

Yes. Lab test services can be completed for multiple people in the same appointment, for example, family members or colleagues/employees. Please contact us to inquire about group discounts.

Yes. You can book an appointment for someone else (e.g. child, spouse or employer) via your own TapLabs account. Simply select ‘Book for someone else’ in the portal and follow the steps.

We understand life happens and schedules change unexpectedly. Your TapLabs appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled at no charge up to one hour before your appointment.  You can easily reschedule or cancel your appointment by signing into your account online or on the mobile app. Appointments that are not cancelled at least one hour prior to appointment time will incur a $40 late cancellation fee. For more detail, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.

A pre-authorized amount of 1.3% of your total service charge is held on your payment card. This amount is only charged to your payment card upon successful completion of your appointment. The pre-authorized amount will be released once your appointment is successfully cancelled.

Lab samples will be collected and dropped off at a designated accredited laboratory. Samples will be processed accordingly, and results will be made available to your physician for follow-up. Your physician will contact you to discuss your results as appropriate.
